Kidnapped
Kidnapped
A strong romance and two hot-headed characters make KIDNAPPED pure fun from the get-go. As much as
Natalie longs to be immune from Brice, her heart still pines for him. Watching her emotions go out of whack is
pure hilarity, but it's also poignant. There's a healthy balance of sweet sparring and heartfelt emotions in
KIDNAPPED to keep your attention on the characters and story. A few other twists and turns help to ratchet up the
tension not only between the protagonists but also between Brice and some of the secondary characters. Michelle
Libby has written a moving yet merry love story that explores the difficulties and the wonders of re-exploring old
relationships.

Natalie's jaw dropped. Brice's question was definitely not what she had been thinking about when she'd pleaded for
someone to speak. She'd expected him to ask about Nate or the other men she'd dated or about her job skills. But
talking about making love in a snowstorm had never crossed her mind.

"Are you kidding me?" she asked. "Is this really what you want to discuss?"

"Are you shy?" Brice taunted. "I can go first. I've never made love in a snowstorm, indoors or out. Now you."

A blush stole over Natalie's cheeks. "Brice, how about talking about our favorite food?"

"Do I get to eat my favorite food off your body?"

She threw her hands in the air. "Why are you doing this to me? You're hurt and can't move, and now you want to talk
sex?"

He nodded with a maddening smile.

She wanted to get up off the couch and walk off some of the tension building in her body, but at the same time, he had
her mesmerized and frozen to the spot. A thrilling tremor sizzled through her body at the images he'd created in her
mind. She wanted to protect her heart--wanted to play the prude--but her curiosity got the best of her.

"You've never had sex in a snowstorm," she said. "Not even in a hot tub with the women you were talking about?"

"So you admit you are curious?"

"No, I'm just making conversation. And no, I've never made love in a snowstorm."

Dog Days of Summer

Excerpt:

“What the...” Pam shouted at the silhouette standing above her, blocking the sun.
“I couldn’t help but see you over here,” Derrick said, letting his gaze drift over her body. “I wanted to see
how you were and how your trip home went.”
She stood up and covered the swell of her breasts that the bathing suit enhanced. The move did not go
unnoticed by him, seeing that he stood only inches from her.
“I’m fine. I don’t remember inviting you onto my dock.”
“Territorial, aren’t we?” He leaned closer.
She smelled the stain that had gotten on his hands and clothes. She stared at his mouth. She licked her
lips unconsciously.
“Are you better? Because we have some unresolved business.”
She started to ask “What business?” but he leaned closer without moving his feet, and their lips made
contact.
