Do you enjoy thunderstorms? Around my house there is a thunderstorm almost every afternoon. It might not rain, but the lightening is too close to be able to swim. I enjoy watching Mother Nature at work. I also would like it if the lightening doesn't strike anything close or knock out my power. LOL. 

The students in the south have returned to school. That has always been an exciting time for me, but when the start of school is in the best days of the summer, I'm less onboard. I get they have A/C in the schools, but still, it's August. It's all what you grew up with. September was always back to school time. When everything is new and fresh. The excitement was palatable. I'll wait for September to get excited about a new season.

Last month, I was stressed and not writing, but the other day, I sat down and made myself write. I put on a playlist and busted out 1,000 words. Easy-peasy. I did the same thing the next day, and the next. I'm on a roll and will finish the short romance in another week. 

I think I'm enjoying writing more than I ever have. I guess I needed the quick break. 

The new series will be under a pen name and will be published before Christmas. That is my goal. I have a few other books that will be published soon, as well. Check me out on Amazon. ​
