Thank goodness for editing. I've been editing all of my projects that have been languishing on my computer in need of attention. Writing new words hasn't been as easy as concentration is hard to find. I want to write, but I'm not finding the motivation to sit down to create something new.
The weather is beautiful here in Maine. I know a lot of other people are dealing with loads of rain and flooding, I'm sorry for that.
The pandemic has caused many to reach the breaking point. People are protesting, losing their jobs, their business and their sanity. We've tried to help out by getting take out whenever possible, but we're also trying to be responsible and stay home as much as possible. I've noticed a huge increase in the number of cars on the roads in my town. People are itching to get out.
I've continued to walk. My longest so far is a 5-miler. I felt so accomplished. Since then I've done a bunch of 5Ks. These were things I couldn't do a year ago, so progress.
I can't imagine what life will look like when things start to open up again. Imagine social distancing at Disney World, for example. How do you stand in line, six feet apart from the family in front of you? And touching all of the handrails...It's something to think about.
Writing will continue for me. I'm trying a new Konban board, thanks for Sarra Cannon. So far so good.
Stay safe and happy.
